Custom Pelican Case Project: Part 1 - Foam Cutter DYI Build Setup
i had this idea to make a case that holds all of my handgun stuff for when i go to the range, take classes, and kinda show off a little when i see some friends. part 1 is to make a foam cutter. basic supplies: peg board 1" wood screws 1/4 eye loop and bolt with washers 1/4 aluminum rod 1"x1"x8' foot wood beam power supply DC nichrome wire i review how i built my simple foam cutter, i wanted to make a nice case. i was told i can use a knife and cut in to frozen foam. the big problem i had was that i couldn't even get a straight cut or perpendicular cut. so yea, i saw this built by other people and i put my take on it. very simple. if i could do it again, it would take probably like 1 hour to build. very stable.
