How to jailbreak your iphone ipod ipad 1 iOS 5 (Tethered) With Semi Tethered Link
Download firmware iOS 5 for your device here: http://www.limera1n.cc/2011/10/download-ios-5-ipsw-firmware-iphone-4.html Download RedSn0w 0.9.9b4 here: http://cydiahelp.com/download-redsn0w-0.9.9b4-with-improvements-for-ios-5-users/ Open redsn0w and click on extras then click on select IPSW, and find the iOS 5 firmware you saved, once youve done that go back and click on Jailbreak. Make sure your phone is plugged in and shut off. Put your phone in DFU mode, by hit Power (Wait 1 sec) Then hit home while still holding on to power, when the apple logo dissapears wait a sec and then let go of power while still holding home, then you will get taken to the jailbreaking screen and you just let your phone sit till its all done. When its all done to boot your phone, reopen redsn0w (or just click back) and click on just boot tethered and put your phone back in DFU mode (Make sure its off) and let it sit 3 minutes and itll boot tethered, you now have a jailbroken apple device :)
