Penny whistle - "Devil's Dance Floor"
A little cover of the flute part of "Devil's Dance Floor" by Flogging Molly. Not perfect (more squeakiness than I would've liked), but it's getting there! Tabs from here http://helioignus.webs.com/fingeringcharts.htm I got a penny whistle this weekend (finally!) at the Richmond Folk Festival, and this is me giving it a test. I bought it from a wonderful flute maker named Patrick Olwell. He didn't make this whistle, but he and his son Aaron were very friendly, informative, and excited to talk to me about their instruments and flute music- they even let me test some of their handmade flutes that were absolutely beautiful.
