Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 \ Nvidia Geforce 9500 GS \ 20 GAMES TESTED IN 03/2021
This video is more of a tribute to the old 9500GS than an actual system that I would recommend using in 2021. Mainly because of the lack of DX11 support. You know this 9500GS is a GPU that a good friend of mine was using in his main rig from 2008 up to 2013. And all the games back from those days ran fine on this card. Ofc not at 1080p highest settings but they were playable more or less^^ At least he accepted the faith of 20FPS gameplay in some titles. ? The 9500GS is in fact a slow clocked 9600GT for the OEM market. So all of the tested games are also running even better on the 9600GT. Some words about the Q6600: If overclocked to 3GHz this CPU is still very solid. Even in modern titles. However, it lacks some feature levels that are needed to run for example Warzone. So I can still recommend this CPU for retro gaming up to 2017-2018. In Windows 10 it's still working fine so for browsing or even some video editing it's a bargain.
