The Solar Cross is an ancient celtic symbol that has been used to celebrate and worship the sun for many, many years. It consists of the cross and a circle behind it and is closely related to the 4 season and the suns movement throughout the year. The four parts of the cross symbolizes the 2 solstices and the 2 Equinoxes. The circle behind the cross symbolizes the year which is divided into 4 seasons. As you can see, there are celtic spirals and knot patterns which are highly detailed and stands out. In the middle of the cross is a birthstone crystal. This necklace here has the birthstone for June. The Lavender Tanzanite. Besides getting it with your own personal birthstone, you can also get this necklace with the Black Onyx stone or a Rainbow stone. I really like this necklace because it is very non threatening for other people. If you can't or won't wear your pentacle for some reason, but you still want to have some meaningful and empowering jewelry on you, the Solstice Solar Cross is the perfect choice. The solar cross gives you energy from the sun and the combination with the powers from the birthstone, makes this a very powerful pendant.
