My 37th birthday: Retro birthday card for the Amstrad CPC 464
The Amstrad CPC 464 microcomputer shares the same birth year as me - 1984 - so I programmed in BASIC a birthday card for the computer. It asks for the user’s birth date and today’s date and if it’s their birthday it puts on a little celebration. But even if it’s not the user’s birthday there is an announcement of how many months or days are remaining.
