contax t3 vs leica mp side-by-side comparison

Music in the video (free, by me, licensed under CC-NC-SA if you'd like to use): https://soundcloud.com/gimmick-mask/ Other photos (free under CC-NC-SA): https://www.nostreamphoto.com/ Not-remotely-professional instagram that I am terrible at updating: https://www.instagram.com/nostream/ I used to think that interchangeable lens cameras offered much better performance than point-and-shoots. in this video, I find that the differences on film (t-max 100) are honestly pretty subtle, and I should stop throwing shade on point-and-shoots. (but I still prefer the great viewfinder and tactile feel of a mechanical camera over an electronic one.) chapters: 0:00 intro and explanation 1:02 in the field + comparisons 2:42 super quick sharpness comparison 3:09 discussion 4:42 outro and thank you --- quick tech specs for nerds: all photos developed by photolab in berkeley, ca (b&w in xtol) scanned w/ fuji gfx 100 + 120/4 GF (film mounted in negative.supply setup) at f/8 sharpened mildly contrast/tonality adjusted to taste for each comparison, but both compared frames processed identically except for exposure balancing. (linear scans are borrrring, this should be fair enough.) all scans are edited. there's no such thing as a neutral scan, and this isn't a scientific review. --- CC Images credits: None in this video.
