Digital organization system for LIFE / WORK / SCHOOL (in Notion) in 2021. SUCCESSES and FAILS
In this video I'd like to talk about how to create an organization system, what I use in 2021 to organize myself, what works and what doesn't. Key ingredients of the organization system ✍️ Input: — Some way to record the information and store it. E.g. you wrote something on a post it not to forget or you put a report a project folder on Google drive 🗂 Structure — All the hierarchy you need to make sense of the information (e.g. folders, categories, tags, labels, comments, linked objects) 🔎 Retrieval — Whatever helps you find the information fast (search function, labels, color coding) 📅 Planning and prioritization — whatever shows you what's the most important (color coding, order in the list) — reminders and deadlines for items — to tell the urgent from important As for me, the most crucial part is structure: how and where to structure all the info, so it makes sense and helps me be on top of everything. This part is also the most difficult to get right.
