HAPPRY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS MARY 🥰 DANISH ROYAL FAMILY SHARE STUNNING PHOTOS OF PRINCESSES

The Danish Royal Family have shared stunning portraits of Princesses Mary and Marie to celebrate their birthdays. Shared to Instagram over the weekend, Princess Mary, who turned 51 on February 5, looked effortlessly chic in her photo in a recycled Carolina Herrera polka dot silk shirt dress. Meanwhile, a snap of Princess Marie Birthday was posted online this morning to mark her birthday, with the caption: 'Her Royal Highness Princess Marie has a birthday and turns 47 today.' Appearing typically stylish, Prince Joachim's wife opted for a smart white blazer and matching blouse for her photograph. Meanwhile, mother-of-four Princess Mary Birthday, from Australia, let her statement outfit do the talking and kept her accessories to a minimum in the portrait. She opted for a glamorous smattering of makeup, complete with a red lip and smokey eye shadow. Ensuring her beaming smile could be seen, the royal pulled her hair back into a slick ponytail. Marie, meanwhile, added a touch of glitz to her ensemble with dazzling diamond earrings and a bracelet. She added a glamorous makeup look to her features - including a soft pink lip and bronzer. She added that she was 'sure that the family can enter the new year together with confidence, understanding and new courage'. Last month, the Royal Family appeared to put the drama far behind them as they arrived for their glamorous New Year's dinner at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen. Despite the fallout, Prince Joachim was seen stepping out at the lavish event, as were his brother Crown Prince Frederik and wife Crown Princess Mary, as well as the Queen's sister Princess Benedikte. Princess Marie, stayed in Paris with their son, who was ill. Last year, Prince Joachim publicly spoke out against his mother's decision in the days that followed - claiming that his children had been 'harmed' in the process. Months later, the sixth-in-line to the throne admitted that 'communication was missing' within the Royal Family in the lead-up to the shock announcement. Joachim told local news outlet B.T.: 'There is a lot to work on. Communication was what was missing. Now we have met and we are on the right track.' Shortly after his children were stripped of his titles, Joachim claimed that he had only been given five days' notice before the news was made public. Following the Queen's announcement, Joachim spoke to Danish publication Ekstra Bladet outside the Danish Embassy in Paris. 'I was given five days' notice to tell them. In May, I was presented with a plan which, by and large, was that when the children each turned 25, it would happen. Now I had only five days to tell them. Athena turns 11 in January,' he clarified.
