Serious Sam: Bright Island - Episode 5 // HandBraked
==== Began uploading on 2022, October, 16th, 18:11 ==== Hello again. Today we're going through yet another location of the Bright Island. It dwarfs everything that we've met before - and that means something in context of this mission pack. Credits: Atlascian Sarnosian - see Episode 1 and TFE, TSE, Sam 2, Sam 3 LPs for the help his guides gave me when I searched for the secrets I didn't find myself ======== Important for my long-term strategy: Because both CPU and GPU began to heat up quite a bit during renderings (90+ Celcius when processor-only rendering, 70 Celcius CPU and 58 Celcius GPU in combo), I've made a hard decision to lower the quality of renderings from 40-50 MBps to 30-40, with HandBroken footage getting 28 MBps. So, currently bad-looking stuff will become a pure mud. Replacing thermal paste is impossible for me without expansive and highly expensive off-screen drama, but I do need - and I think that I owe you a lot because of my delays - to give you content to watch (and maybe enjoy its stupidness, who knows). However, I also need this computer to stay alive for other stuff, because its replacement isn't coming up until at least 2028 thanks to prices rivalling a shoddy car. That's why I had to do it. A lesson about "too much rendering" is learned from the era when I uploaded lots of XCOM footage almost every day. ========
