Canon 5D Mark IV - First Model Shoot
Commercial photographer Phil Jones puts the Canon 5D Mark IV through its paces as he creates images and video both in the studio and on location. "I've recently bought some new kit, including a Canon 5D Mark IV and a Manfrotto BeFree live tripod. Within a few days of receiving it, I set up a model photo shoot so I could test the camera both in the studio and outdoors and at the same time create content for my social media including a shoot with New Look watches. Fortunately, during the first shoot, there was an incredible sunset so I was able to use the camera in extremely sunny beautiful conditions. I was also keen to use the camera in a studio set up as creating an image as sharp as the Mk 3 is important to me. Although in this video I have shared a few retouched images, I thought it was important to show Raw images in Adobe Lightroom, so you can see the camera and post production settings I used! The same applies to the video footage. Apart from adding a little contrast in editing, the footage is as it comes off the camera with NO colour grading.
