Jovy Systems RE-8500 Infrared BGA Rework Station

https://toolboom.com/en/infrared-bga-rework-station-jovy-systems-re-8500/ In 2012, the well-known Hong Kong manufacturer Jovy Systems introduced a new solution for BGA reworking ‒ RE-8500. The new Jovy Systems RE-8500 infrared BGA rework station is specifically designed for restoring large PCBs, including laptop and gaming console motherboards. The previous generation Jovy Systems RE-7500 was one of the most successful rework stations of its time. The manufacturer took into consideration all of customer feedback to improve the earlier model. Let's no focus on the advantages of the new model RE-8500. ✔ Thanks to an improved temperature sensor, the soldering area temperature control in the new RE-8500 infrared station is more precise. Using the temperature control system, it is now possible to monitor the soldering temperature in five zones. ✔ The top heater holder is securely fastened. Each customer also gets a set of focusing attachments for chips of different sizes. ✔ The main improvement that Jovy Systems made to this infrared rework station is the size and output power of the heaters: the top heater now measures 6 by 12 cm and the size of the bottom heater is 28 by 35 cm. ✔ Customers will find everything they need to start working with the RE-8500 infrared BGA rework station in the package, except for consumables. Like the previous model, the new repair station from Jovy Systems provides a simple but highly positioning system. In this video, our technical experts are going to dismantle the northbridge on a motherboard. This operation may only be done if at least two thermocouples are connected to the station. The higher temperature is considered to be the reference one. ✔ During the soldering process, the operator may change the settings or put the entire procedure on hold at any point. After desoldering, the microchip can be easily removed from the motherboard with the handy built-in vacuum pick-up tool. It's safe to say that the manufacturer's efforts have paid off: the Jovy Systems RE-8500 is a huge step forward compared to the earlier model. It is a complete rework station for repairing the entire range of modern digital PCBs. ☞ Follow the link to discover more infrared soldering stations: https://toolboom.com/en/catalogue/soldering-equipment/infrared-soldering-stations/
