Marvel Ultimate Alliance "Remastered" Bundle - SHAME ON YOU ACTIVISION

The re-release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Steam should be a joyous occasion, as the series literally accounts for two of my most favorite games of all time. I own them both on Xbox 360 and even streamed MUA2 a few weeks ago for some nostalgia. When Marvel Comics and Acitivision announced last week at San Diego Comic Con 2016 that they would be releasing a "remaster" of the game the next Tuesday (July 26, 2016) I was beyond excited. They focused on how great it would look and how thrilled they were that people still cared about the game. Then Tuesday came and well, the folks on Playstation 4 in Europe were able to get it at midnight their time, but everyone else were forced to wait HOURS before the game finally released worldwide on Playstation 4 and even longer on Steam. Then there was the Xbox One version, which somehow got pushed back to that Thursday (July 28th, 2016). People were Tweeting at Xbox Support ALL DAY and they were completely useless, differing to Major Nelson, who said nothing for hours and hours. Activision? They don't care about us. They were already counting their money. Then to top it all off, EIGHT DLC characters are missing from the first game, and two days after release, NOBODY KNOWS WHY! It's even IN THE LISTING for Marvel Ultimate Alliance on Xbox One that one of the characters (Hulk) is in the game! This remaster is BULLSHIT. It is a straight port. It is barely a remaster. The cut scenes look terrible. Worst of all? It is a HORRIBLE value at $59.99. This game should have been made available via Backwards Compatibility or it should have been no more than $20 per game. It is the height of disrespect, and shame on Activision for taking advantage of true fans like this. Don't get me wrong, I love going back to this game on a nicer, new console with like 10% better graphics, but to sucker and hoodwink people into buying this game under the false title of a remaster is as sleezy as it gets. But what should we expect from Activision? This is just the way they do business. And it's BULLSHIT. UPDATE 7/30/16 - For anyone that wants to try and give me shit for this rant, just know that people like me doing this is what is getting the game fixed. I'm not pretending I had anything to do it, but by having a collection of people pissed, it forced Marvel and Activision to do something. This is why I do things like this. I fucking LOVE these two games. Again, two of my favorite games of all time. I am speaking from passion. These companies should not be able to take advantage of us like this. I have no problem paying for the game again but I want the value to be right. And $40 or $60 for what we got out of this package is NOT fair value compared to what other "definitive editions" of much younger games have to offer. In any event, the DLC from this game will be coming soon FREE, as it should be: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2016/07/28/people-are-pretty-mad-about-activisions-terrible-marvel-ultimate-alliance-ports.aspx Follow me on Twitter! https://twitter.com/JayShockblast Follow me on Twitch! https://www.twitch.tv/jayshockblast
