EASY and FAST Turkey on the BIG GREEN EGG - CHEAT SHEET
The EASIEST and FASTEST way to cook a turkey on the big green egg or other style smoker...I made this video to keep it simple and easy, and fool proof. Very hard to mess this easy and fast recipe for turkey on the big green egg! For brining the turkey, 1 cup of salt to 4 gallons of water. Season with rosemary or others to taste. You are cooking at 275-325f indirect (platesetter in and legs up) for 10-12 minutes PER POUND. The average size turkey will take 3-4 hours. In the video I use a rib rack, but you don't have to do that, just on the grate is fine too!!
