The Film Triathlon
www.thefilmtriathlon.com A week long film competition, where teams write, shoot, and score a short film. Competing teams have exactly 5 days 18 hours and 53 minutes (500,000 seconds) to write, shoot, and edit a short film. In that time, they will also write and record original music for said film. The competition will be held in Astoria, Oregon, starting on September 7th at 6pm, and running through the 15th. All the films will be shown in the historic Liberty Theater, over the course of three days, with the winners being announced at the last showing on the night of the 15th. Grand prize is $5,000+prizes, and a spot in the Astoria International Film festival for their film made during the competition. Also, there will be major cash and prizes being given out to 2nd and 3rd place winners, as well as smaller prizes for winners of specific categories.
