I use mostly office applications but do look at engineering drawings a fair amount and the 2k monitor was looking a little fuzzy compared to my other 4k monitor so I decided to upgrade. This is about as large of a monitor as I would care for with a 2 monitor setup. I wouldn't want any more neck rotation to see everything. The new 32" is very clear. I can look at full size P&ID drawings and actually read all of the instrumentation bubbles while viewing the full sheet. On the smaller monitor I would have to zoom in to read it, then loose the big picture where all of the connecting lines go off page to various components. Sharp screen and good upgrade for $300. Highly recommend. I don't do gaming so I can't comment on that type of usage for this monitor. I have watched streaming video and the picture is excellent for that.
