Parathyroid Gland Part 3 | PTH - Vitamin D - Calcitonin Regulations | Endocrinology |Subash Acharya

During this Endocrinology Lecture, SM discusses that the PTH hormone stimulates the Ca reabsorption from the Proximal Tubule. In Proximal Tubule, Phospate reabsorption is reducted by the PTH. PTH also has the receptor located in the Distal Convoluted tubule. In Proximal Tubule, PTH also activates the Vitamin D. Vitamin d Is very important for the absorption of Ca and PO43- from the GI tract. **** MEDICAL DISCLAIMER *** SUBU MEDICINE does not provide medical advice.
