There’s a new bill called the Chips for America Bill that’s just been proposed, which aims to provide up to $52B for research, development and production for chipmakers and the related industries in the US. This bill could directly impact stocks such as AMD, Nvidia and Intel, as well as a host of other companies as well, potentially providing a boost for all of their stock prices as well. I discuss how this bill could impact the world power balance by addressing the worldwide chip shortage which is strangling so many industries at the moment.
