Chat and Draw: Neil Gaiman's SNOW GLASS APPLES and Rose O'Neill

Colleen Doran in a live draw video as she works on Neil Gaiman's SNOW GLASS APPLES graphic novel, coming in August 2019 from Dark Horse. This chat answers a question from Patreon supporter Journeyman Studios https://www.instagram.com/journeyman1029/?hl=en (feed may include art that depicts nudity and violence). Colleen discusses the great cartoonist/illustrator Rose O'Neill, creator of The Kewpies. Two notes: in the video Colleen mentions Rose O'Neill's house at Drury University, but she's not sure if it's the house that O'Neill lived in that was burned down and reconstructed later: it's not. The house at Drury University was a house she built for her nephew and is now used as a remembrance of Rose O'Neill. Her family home at Bonniebrook is located near Branson Missouri and is now a museum. You can find more about it here. https://www.explorebranson.com/museums/bonniebrook-historical-society-rose-oneills-fine-art-gallery-museum-and-homestead Rose O'Neill returned to Missouri to take up permanent residence in 1937, and died at the home of her nephew in 1944, hence the confusion over how long she was back in Missouri, which house is which, and which house is at the Drury campus.
