James Burton Style Guitarists & Players - my 50 JB Guitar Solos Demo 4 ETA/Elvis Tribute
Looking for James Burton style guitarists?... Dear Elvis Tribute Artists, ETA managers and James Burton fans... this is a 2 min snippet of my '50 James Burton Guitar Solos in 15 Minutes' demo. I'm playing guitar on right channel - James Burton style - and Elvis' James/band on left. Youtube blocked the full video on copyright but not these 2 solos - I added link to 50 solos demo below. If you are looking for guitarists who love and play like James Burton, perhaps you might give it a listen. I have studied James Burton's sound/style and Scotty Moore's since 1987 as a hobby. Both having very unique and unorthodox styles and without many videos - I learnt it all wrong for years - but getting there :) HIGHLIGHTS... Please check my versions of Johnny B Goode solo from 72 On Tour rehearsals (5:49) + C.C.Rider solo from 72 Hampton Roads (8:15) - my favourites because they were hardest (for me) to learn. Also 'You Asked Me To' in both James and Jerry Reed style (12:09). Last Jerry Scheff Polk Salad Annie 72 bass solo from Madison Square Garden at (7:14) complete with fuzz:) I've been obsessed with JB for years and had little time for music till now (usual reason paying bills etc) but now free as I make small living from a laptop so can travel. I'd like to back, sub/fill in or tour with Elvis tribute artists or ETAs looking for a James Burton style guitarist.
