Challenge Targets - Target Stands TS100 & TS200 - Part 1 - Unboxing and Assembly
Check them out at http://www.challengetargets.com/Category/Target_Stands.asp I want to thank Brad Brune for the opportunity to evaluate these two fine target stands. I am purchasing the TS100 but Brad is donating the TS200 for the Walnut Crickett Fundraiser. Info from Challenge Targets You can get pricing information and details from our site: TS100 Link: http://www.challengetargets.com/Target_Stands/TS100.asp TS200 Link: http://www.challengetargets.com/Target_Stands/TS200.asp The (4) 12" Galvanized ground spikes do not come with the stands. These can be purchased at any Lowes or Home Depot for less than $1.00 each. The TS200 has holes for this style ground stake. The TS100 has notches that are designed for "J" shaped tent stakes but the stakes. Drive them in at an angle so the head of the stake catches the notch in the leg of the stand). The TS100 is one of our best selling products and it's a great value at $44.95 each. We also offer price breaks for higher quantities. I tell people who are evaluating different stands to start by researching the weight of the stand. On a product like this, the weight is often an indication of stability and durability. Our TS100 stand weighs over 8 lbs which is about twice the weight of most comparably priced equipment. Other features that make our stands better: - Adjustable width (span between the furring strips). - Four point stance. The center is elevated so the weight is displaced across (4) points. This helps keep the stand more stable on uneven terrain. - Spring loaded tubes and thumb screws secure the furring strips in two directions so they fit snug within the tube. - Black texture black powder coat finish (most stands are liquid painted which is not as durable). The TS200 has the same features but it's built even larger and stronger. It weights over 15lbs. and the footprint is extra wide for excellent stability.
