Acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter Vinicio Capossela came to Leeds for his first performance outside London, following his successful show at the Barbican in May 2012. The event "Stories from Sailors, Prophets and Whales" took place on the Howard Assembly Room of the Opera North in Leeds. This event, organised in partnership with Opera North (http://www.dareyou.org.uk/) is part of LivItaly - Bringing Contemporary Italian Culture to Yorkshire Before the concert, Vinicio Capossela discussed about "lI mito, la letteratura, le canzoni" in conversation with Stefano Salis (journalist at 'Il Sole 24 Ore', Milan) and Gigliola Sulis (lecturer in Italian at the University of Leeds).
