Royal Palaces of Sri Lanka part 01 of 02
It is 200 years to this February (2015) since Sri Lanka lost its reign of kings which is recorded back to 505BC. I produced this programme ‘The Royal Palaces of Sri Lanka’ in 2002 for Sri Lankan National television (SLRC) as 4 episode documentary. Dr Malinga Amarasinghe has done the research and it was originally telecasted in Sinhala and later a veteran broadcaster, late Mr. Jimmy Barucha narrated this to English. I have done a bit of editing to reduce the duration and to make it as two parts. The programmes were brought to the UK in DVDs hence the quality is not as good as the original production.
