Flying to Manila. Philippine Airlines Business Class B-777. Los Angeles to Manila #philippines #lax
I made a short video/review of my trip to Manila. Via Philippine Airlines Business Class Lax to MnL. The Philippine Airlines Lounge in Lax, is a shared lounge. It is the star alliance lounge located at the 6th floor. The lounge is nice and big. There is even outdoor seating. But, unfortunately the food is very limited. They serve three types of bread ( which you can toast ). Bacon, eggs, sausage and fresh fruits. The soda machine was out of soda. Only coffee and raspberry iced tea was available. The flight number is PR113. The aircraft is an old B-777. The plane is old and out dated. It still has the old seat layout for business class. If your sleeping, and the person next to you needs to go to the restroom, he or she would need to wake you up or climb over you. Your paying twice or more for comfort, that is just unacceptable. Entertainment or the screen is old and has very limited movie selection. But the food was really good, I really liked it. The service was ok. Nothing special, except that the flight attendant memorized all our last names, I guess just to make us feel special. But for me standing up, and looking for a flight attendant is really unacceptable, not just for business class but even for economy. For me, the real perks of flying Philippine Airlines business class ( lax to mnl ) is the quick checkin of your checked luggage, you are first to board the plane, i guess the seat that turns into a bed, the food, first one to disembark, and you are the first one to get your luggage. I don’t know if I’m still going to use business class for my return flight to lax. I might just get the bulk seat in economy for more leg room. Anyway, I just gave my honest opinion. Thank you for watching my short video.
