AUTOBEAM LED MIRROR PANEL LOGO UNIT INSTALL! | FOCUS RS
I install the Autobeam Ambient LED Logo Puddle Light upgrade on my Ford Focus RS! The Autobeam Ambient logo LED puddle kit consists of two of their LED puddle logo units. These replacement units don't simply replace the old bulbs but fully replace the whole unit and have a full LED setup incorporated into the new housing! Offering a new level of customisation options for the puddle light in your Ford Focus, you choose what logo you would like to have projected onto the ground and then choose the LED color you want, of which there are five to choose from. As you will see near the end of the video, the projected logo is both a good size and very crisp and clear - making for a very functional upgrade which also adds a new level of prestige, really elevating the look of the Ford Focus no matter what model you have! These LED units are easy to install and are super cool! In this video, I do the the install, giving you an overview of the step by step process so you can have the ambient LED puddle logo light upgrade from Autobeam in your MK3 or MK2 Ford Focus (available with RS, ST, ST Line and S logos!) in no time! I then showcase three of the available colours - red, green and blue - so you can see the differences and inform your own choice for customisation! The installation is very quick and easy. Simply pop the mirror glass out carefully then unscrew, disconnect and unclip the old puddle light before installing the new Autobeam units using the exact opposite steps. One additional part of the installation that is unique to these Autobeam ambient LED logo puddle units is also another area of customisation. There is a little screw on the back of the new Autobeam puddle light housing. What is this does is rotates the logo so you can change how the logo is then projected onto the ground - you could have it parallel, perpendicular, or any orientation you would like! As the units require no additional resistors or parts, changing from the old bulbs/housings to the Autobeam LED logo version, gives an extra modern, stylish and totally custom look as well as functional benefit to the MK3 and MK2 Ford Focus (RS, ST, etc) in a very short amount of time! The old puddle bulbs work of course but when you upgrade to these new Autobeam units you will see just how much better these are! The Autobeam LED logo puddle housing are lovely quality with a very nice feel of materials as well as fitting into the original mirror slot so have a nice OEM plus look. The LEDs are also instant instant on/off and should last longer than the standard bulb. Autobeam say: Advance to a modern look.
