This is an original song about William Mckenzie who lived in Liverpool in the Victorian age. Legend has it that he lost his soul to the Devil in a game of poker, and left instructions upon his death to be buried above ground so the Devil couldn't find him. Furthermore, he wanted to be propped up at his card table with an unbeatable hand of cards put in his hands. His tomb can be found on Rodney street in Liverpool.
