Arif Erdem Ocak is the founder of ‘Seksendört’, the popular Turkish rock-band. In 2015 he created his first solo album, Bahar, where he used drum, guitar and Rhodes to create a unique sound. In 2016 he joined a Turkish rock band ‘Duman’ on its European tour. He tours in Hungary and other European countries. Eschewing traditional, yet popular Turkish musical styles, Ocak smoothly embraces Western themes into his unique Anatolian post-folk music style. All his lyrics are written in Turkish. He is currently working on his new album, Toprak and takes us to a world of irresistible, hundred-year old, ancient melodies.
