How to make New York Style Red Velvet Cookies. Preheat oven at 180C/350F. In a bowl, beat together cold butter, brown sugar and white sugar until incorporated. Then add large egg, red food dye and vanilla. Mix until combined. 2. Add pure unsweetened cocoa powder and mix. 3. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Then mix until combines. 4. Add white chocolate and milk chocolate. Just mix to combine. 5. Scoop about 14o to 150 grams each cookie or about 1/2 cup. Place in a line sheet pan. Top with more chocolates. You can use any topping you like. Or you can fill this too. 6.
