Extra abnormal fluid in early pregnancy can signify that it can be ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Usually blood which is collected in pouch of Douglas in ruptured ectopic pregnancy will give hypoequioc areas on sononography which will be seen as abnormal fluid collection in sonography. Sometimes it can be associated with PID as well.
