Seoul Walking Tour on Bukchon Hanok Village Festival with Hanbok Influencer

Hello everyone, this is Nathan! 👋 Thank you so much for always supporting my walking tour videos. Today’s journey takes you to Bukchon Hanok Village, one of Seoul’s most iconic cultural heritage sites, during the Bukchon Cultural Festival (Bukchon Day 2025). 🏯✨ 📅 Bukchon Cultural Festival 2025 (북촌의 날) • Dates: September 26 (Fri) – October 5 (Sun), 2025 • Location: Bukchon Hanok Village, Seoul • Theme: Tradition, community, and the future of K-culture This festival highlights the history, culture, and community spirit of Bukchon, where 100 years of hanok tradition meets modern-day K-culture. 🌸 For those unable to visit Bukchon in person—whether locals or international viewers—this video brings the festival directly to you. Through the lens of SeoulWalker, you’ll experience the Kaedong Madam House (계동마님댁), the festive atmosphere of the Bukchon neighborhood, and the charm of a living hanok village. ✨ Joining me on this journey is Hanbokssi (한복씨), a traditional hanbok lifestyle influencer and cultural ambassador. Together, we explore the beauty of Bukchon’s hanok houses, its residents, and its role in shaping Korea’s cultural identity today. If you enjoyed this special walking tour, please don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more unique cultural journeys through Seoul. 🚶♂️🌌 🚔🚨 To fly a drone legally in Korea, you must first register your drone with the Korea Office of Civil Aviation (KOCA), even if it’s under 250g. Also, you need to apply for flight permission in advance for each location through the official UOM (UAS Operation Management) system. Most areas in Seoul are restricted or controlled airspace, and flying without permission can lead to a fine of at least 1.6 million KRW (~$1,200 USD). Historic sites like Gyeongbokgung or national parks are extremely difficult to get approval for, and flying without permission in those places is strictly prohibited.
