Let's Play WarCraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans #5 | The Gryphon Aviary
Time for magic! Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans is and unpublished point-and-click adventures that bridges the plot of Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal and Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. The game was never released but leaked eventually. The game is a traditional adventure game with a fixed scenery, inventory and dialogue puzzles, and various interconnected locations. It features hand-drawn graphics and cel-shaded animation, and was developed by Blizzard in cooperation with Animation Magic. Lord of the Clans tells the story of Thrall, the Orc raised by humans after the fall of the Horde who would later reunite the Orc Clans and restore the Horde's glory as its new Warchief. The game does not take itself very serious, and has a lot of dark and crude humour. The game was ultimately cancelled when Blizzard decided that the gameplay was severely lacking. Rather than publish a mediocre game, they chose to cancel it. When Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans was cancelled, it had been in development for over a year and was almost complete. Nearly all features, puzzles, and areas were in place, and the voice acting had been recorded. Despite this, the game's stroyline wasn't discarded. Instead, it became the basis for the 2001 novel Lord of the Clans by Christie Golden. The game's overall story is part of the Warcraft canon, though various changes were made later. After the game leaked, fans started a project to remaster game's cutscenes. Get the improved cutscenes here: http://goo.gl/ubi6pb
