Companion Pet Necessities at the Magical Menagerie - World of Warcraft Classic Wotlk
Today we start the adventure over at A Hero’s Welcome with the innkeeper Isirami Fairwind. We are going to head outside the inn and to the rightish/straight ahead (northeast) then (northwest) towards Magical Menagerie. Once arriving at Magical Menagerie head on inside and talk to Breanni. She sells 8 different items all unique and only for sale in Dalaran: Fetch Balls: Awesome little rope balls you throw for your non-combat pet. Most will chase after the Fetch Ball, pick it up then run back to you. Classic game of fetch minus the typical ball hogging. Single-time use per ball comes in stacks of 5 and stacks up to 10 fetch balls per space in your inventory. Happy Pet Snacks: Food you “throw” at your non-combat pet that puts a heart over their head for 5 minutes. Single-time use per snack that comes in stacks of 5 and stacks up to 20 Happy Pet Snacks per space in your inventory. Pet Grooming Kits: Throw a bucket of water at your non combat pet that cleans them. Puts a 5-minute buff called clean on your pet that makes them sparkle (similar to the Shoe Shine sparkle for your feet). I always get asked in raids why I’m washing my cockroach. Single-time use per Pet Grooming Kit sold 1 at a time and stacks up to 10 per space in your inventory. Rope Pet Leash: Puts a rope leash on your non-combat pet, great for role-playing or making sure your pesky pet doesn’t escape! ;P Once bought lasts forever. Unlimited use Red Ribbon Pet Leash: Puts a Red ribbon leash on your pet, a fancy reskin of the normal rope pet leash. The ribbon kind of looks like your channeling a health funnel to your pet... Once bought lasts forever. Unlimited use Calico Cat: New unique cat companion pet that’s a mixture of tan/brown, black and white. Very beautiful reskin and by far my favorite cat available. Great for Horde players as most of the other cat companion pets are only for sale in Eywnn Forest for Alliance players (unless you got lucky farming the Black Tabby cat as horde up in Hillsbrad Foothills). Once you buy the Calico Cat from Breanni, you’ll right-click on the Calico Cat in your inventory and it will be added to your companion pet tab. To access this tab just click on your character tab. Click pets, and search for the new pet you learned. Should be on the first page as the books are in alphabetical order. Albino Snake: A new fancy snake companion pet that’s all white. Great for Alliance players as all the other snake companion pets are only for sale in Orgimmar a Horde city. Alliance has to be a little crafty to be able to get ahold of the original snakes unless they decide to buy one off of the neutral ah. Once you buy the Albino Snake from Breanni, you’ll right-click on the Albino Snake in your inventory and it will be added to your companion pet tab. To access this tab just click on your character tab. Click pets, and search for the new pet you learned. Should be on the first page as the books are in alphabetical order. Obsidian Hatchling: By far the easiest dinosaur hatchling to get for all players, both Alliance or Horde as the other dinosaur hatchlings are rare spawn drops that are on timers and consistently farmed. Once you buy the Obsidian Hatchling from Breanni, you’ll right-click on the Obsidian Hatchling in your inventory and it will be added to your companion pet tab. To access this tab just click on your character tab. Click pets, and search for the new pet you learned. Should be on the second to third page depending on how many companion pets you have as the books are in alphabetical order. One of my favorite uses for the Fetch Balls is throwing them during downtime in raids and dungeons or around Dalaran as people always wonder what the heck I’m doing. If you have the Furbolg costume or Wolf costume, it’ll always catch people off guard if your out walking your companion pet with one of the leashes.
