LG 38UC99 Gaming GTA V on Asus GL502VS Laptop (GTX 1070)
Thought I would put my laptop through its paces and see if it could handle GTA V on a resolution of 3840x1600 at decent settings. Looks like it did! Got FPS readings avg of 44fps (see top right of screen) Laptop temps got up in the 90°C area for the CPU and high 70°C for the GPU, but the game runs fine on regular settings Here are the specs and hardware that made it possible: Specs: Asus GL502VS Laptop -i7 6700HQ -Nvidia 1070 8GB DDR5 -Samsung DDR4 2133Mhz RAM 16GBx2 = 32GB -Samsung 950 Pro NVME 256GB - 1TB HDD (Game Installed Here) -3840*1600 LG 38UC99 Monitor set to 75HZ -HDMI 2.0 Connection Also note that the recording was done in 4k 30fps so you will not be able to discern the FPS differences if they are above 30fps. Also any stuttering seen in the video is caused by the camera not the monitor. If you guys want me to try out a new game, do let me know!
