Arn Anderson Reveals Real Reason Mauro Ranallo Is No Longer With WWE It was common knowledge NXT announcer Mauro Ranallo didn't have the easiest go in WWE, but eventually left to look after his family. Is that trueThe buzz around what happened when NXT announcer Mauro Ranallo ultimately quit his job as the announcer for NXT and left the company despite being one of the most popular announcers among the fans was that he simply left to look after his family. Back in August when the terms of his departure were finalized, we reported that he was often flying home to be with his mother who had been hospitalized and that he was looking for a less stressful schedule. We wrote that WWE did accommodate him as best they could but it proved to be too much. Another source apparently thinks something else went down that led to Ranallo deciding to leave.
