5D Mark 3 High ISO Test vs Mark 2
Canon 5D Mark 2 and 3 with 85mm @ 1.2 for this High ISO Test. On both cameras the Sharpness was @ 3, Saturation @ 1, and the rest @ 0 Used tungsten white balance and shutter speed @ 60 5D Mark 3's "High ISO noise reduction" setting was set to low from normal. Which makes the Mark 3 footage a tad more noisy. Used ALL-I for Mark 3. 5D Mark 3 is around 2 stops ahead in low light performance over the Mark2. Mark 3 is also a tad brighter than the Mark 2 in the same ISO setting. The tungsten white balance creates a warmish tone in the Mark 3 and a cool greenish tone on the Mark 2. No grading was applied.
