POE 3.20 - A Workaround For The Combustion/Bonechill Bug - Unbound Ailments - Path Of Exile Sanctum
#pathofexile #patch #notes There's a significant bug that has been in the game since 3.15, but that has only really been noticed in the last two days. Players discovered that they were not getting the benefit of the Combustion support gem in certain situations - and on further investigation it seemed Bonechill wasn't working either. If Combustion/Bonechill is linked to your main skill this bug does not affect you. If Combustion/Bonechill is linked to a SECONDARY skill, this bug is likely to often affect you. The workaround: Increase the duration of your 'secondary' skill through the use of Unbound Ailments Support, Efficacy Support or other means, and don't use these methods on your primary skill. Optionally, decrease the duration of your 'primary' skill through the use of Swift Affliction, although this latter option comes at a considerably higher cost. You want your Combustion skill to apply significantly LONGER ignites than your primary skill does, so it does not ever 'fall off'. This WILL be fixed but will not be fixed on day 1.
