Get Hamachi(link is down below!) 2. Install it and run it 3. Join networks or create networks so your friends can play! Step 2: Setting Up the Server 1. Go to either the Minecraft or Mojang websites (links are down below!) 2. Go to the downloads (Mojang: scroll down until you find latest version) 3. Download the Minecraft_Server.exe (.exe not .jar!). This is your server 4. Make a new folder on your desktop (right click on desktop, hover over "New," click "Folder") 5. Drag the Minecraft_Server.exe into the folder you've just created 6. Start the Minecraft_Server.exe up 7. When it says "Done", close it, and you should see more things in your folder 8. Open up the "Server Properties" (if it says "Windows can't open this file," then click use prgram already installed, and use a program that you can write with. ie. Notepad) 9. Scroll down until you see "server-ip" 10. Go back to your Hamachi, and find your IP (next to power button) 11. Click it, and press "Copy IPv4 address" 12. Go back to your "server-ip" in your Server Properties, and press Ctrl and v at the same time to paste it in as your server IP 13. Start up your server (press the application! It's a grass block!) 14. Go to your Minecraft Game, and go to multiplayer 15. Go to "Add Server" (or Direct Connect) and press Ctrl and v where it says "Server IP" 16. You should be able to login to your server. Share the IP with your friends to let them join! Step 3: Getting Maps into your Server *To access Singleplayer Maps, go to your "Start" button, and type in %appdata%. Then go to your .minecraft folder. Then go into your "saves" folder, which should bring you up to your Singleplayer maps. *To access maps downloaded from the internet, find your download (should be in "Downloads" folder), and open it up. There you should see your map. I recommend to use WinRAR to open these types of files up (link is down below!) **All your maps should be a folder. The folder should contain a bunch of stuff in it, like DIM and DIM-1, and what-not. Double check to make sure the folder is not hiding in another! 1. Drag your map folder into the Server Folder 2. Go into your Server Properties and find "level-name" 3. Change the "level-name" to your map folder (EXACT: ALL CAPITALS, SPACES, ETC,). This will set the server's pathway into that folder. 4. Start up your server 5. Login to your server, and you should see your desired map! Step 4: How to get Mineshafter Clients into yuor Server 1. Go to the Mineshafter Website (link is down below!) 2. Go to the "Downloads" section 3. Download the Mineshafter Proxy for Servers 4. Drag that into your Server folder 5. Go into your server properties and find "online-mode" 6. Change that to false* *This allows hackers to join, but you are safe because you are using Hamachi! The extra server property: enable-command-block=true Links to stuff from the video: Hamachi: http://bit.ly/n62Prg Minecraft Website: http://bit.ly/sFlFlN Mojang Website: http://bit.ly/e31acD Mineshafter Downloads: (Clicking will not benefit you in any way cause it's discontinued... link is here to get the mineshafter client) http://bit.ly/mineshafterdload Zombie Apocalypse by Hypixel: http://bit.ly/10a2sRS Skyblock 2.1: http://bit.ly/rgF2bZ Hope you guys like my video!
