Swami Sharanam🙏 It is with great spiritual enthusiasm and excitement that we, Kent Ayyappa Temple located in Gillingham, Kent, The United Kingdom, are conducting the first ever, daily, multi – lingual recitation of the Adhyatma Ramayanam in the spiritually significant month of Karkidakam (Aadi / Shravanam) which spans from July 17 to August 16, 2021. The Ramayanam will be recited daily by devotees from across the globe, in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and this will be livestreamed on the Temple’s official YouTube channel. Every evening of the Karkidaka month, the recitation will start with Nada Thurappu and conclude with Aarti, followed by Harivarasanam. By undertaking this Mega Spiritual Event (Ramayana Parayana Maholsavam), we aim to help the local community in the United Kingdom to enhance their awareness about Hindu spiritual values which Lord Shri Rama established and stood firmly for. It is also believed that the recitation of Ramayana will help remove spiritual and physical ailments, Navagraha Doshas and place the devotee on the right path to health, wealth and prosperity.
