Fender Hotrod Deluxe 3 test home setting
I've got some mixed feelings with this amp. At home this amp sounds absolutely wonderfull and has got a rich and full sound on both channels. I can imagine that this amp is ideal for studio recordings and gigs at small venues. But as soon as this amp has to scream at rehearsals in big rock band ( as mine is ) or a larger venue where the amp also is being used as a monitor, the amp gets ugly. Al that remains is the mid range of the signal. And believe me, this MF is loud! But on the other hand: if you prefer an amp that breaks up early on the clean channel, this is your thing! Lets say...when you're playing in rock band where you need a full rock sound at higher volumes, this amp wil not deliver. But in a jazz trio or small blues band, this amp really "rocks". For me....i bought this amp to soon and was to impulsive. The drive on this amp is not really suitable for hardrock or metal. The voicing is to bluesy imo. Anyway, i hope you've enjoyed this demo!
