While most people tend to ignore Rivens entirely (or are unaware of their existence), those who treat the RNG-clown-fiesta that is Rivens as a means of progression will notice. Weapons are balanced around and are in turn balanced by their Rivens. With every mainline update, so comes another batch of Riven disposition changes. This affects more than the damage output of your favorite weapons, but it can have a less-than-subtle impact to the in-game platinum economy.
