Jimi Hendrix Red House Blues Guitar Improv by Joey Vaughan "World Blues Attack" Telecaster
Hello Everyone! Since Jimi Hendrix is one of my all time favorites I thought I would attempt to capture a small bit of his incredible playing style with an improvisation! His sound is so distinct and awesome please don't try to compare this with anything he has done. If I was able to capture a small bit of his playing flavor I am more than happy! I got the backing track from Gibsonsulli! Please check out his stuff I find it more than adequate! I am again using my 1990 American Standard Telecaster in Sunburst. I am playing through my Kustom PA system and using my Zoom G-1 Guitar Effects Pedal on the A-0 setting. My daughter Jessica filmed this one! Thanks Jess nice job!! I thought I got going pretty good in a couple parts and although I always think I can do better, when you play improvs what you get is what you get! All my blues videos are completely unrehearsed and when I listen to them back I am as surprised as anyone! I guess in the long term I am trying to forge a recognizable and familiar sound and style! I want people to be able to hear my music and say hey that's Joey Vaughan! And of course I like him! Well if anybody interested in pouring over my 10 blues improvs and letting me know if I am achieving this I would be most interested! My favorite blues songs are Texas Flood and Blues Boys! To my fans in Singapore, New York City, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Las Vegas, Nashville, and of course Franconia, New Hampshire home of "The Wicked Smart Horn Band"!! And of course Joe and Tony Cimino at Mojo Studios!
