It is in scale 1:35 (1 to 35). In my mind he is a bad *BEEP* survivor from a post-apocalyptic event. 01:53 The following project is inspired by real and imaginary events. 02:26 Already got the resin figure and its parts, out of their bags. 02:33 Cutting and then smoothing out the parts with the hobby knife, file and/or sandpaper. When needed, using the hobby knife carefully in the opposite direction to avoid cutting or damaging the parts. 02:48 ATTENTION! Keep always in mind that after gluing, painting, etc to let things dry. 03:27 Everything is smooth and clean. Super gluing. 04:10 This part here isn't properly matching the rest of the figure so I will have to fix it. 06:06 Gray primer 2 coatings. 06:39 Deep blue painting. 07:20 Done. Russian green painting. 08:16 Russian green is done. Onto the khaki painting. 08:46 Off camera painted with khaki brown because the khaki itself was too bright. Painting with Nato black and of course will finish off camera. 10:29 Painting with silver metal. 10:58 Finished off camera and also did some details, for example with blue, red and green colors, in a few key areas. 11:09 Gunmetal gray and green in some other key parts. As usually, will finish off camera. 11:59 Sand yellow painting. 12:29 Armour brown. 13:09 Painting with olive brown. 13:46 Clear blue and after it will dry, will do one more coating. 14:25 Light blue details here and there. 15:17 White dry brushing. 16:26 Light green and with this little sponge, weathering away. 17:10 Black washing. 18:33 Glossy varnish on these three. 19:03 The bad *BEEP* survivor is done. However, a bad *BEEP* survivor must have and a bad *BEEP* action. 19:13 Using this drinking straw that I had already cut and glued like so. A LED and a battery. Cotton balls and PVA glue. Creating the flame thrower's fire blast. 19:51 Off camera, attached all the cotton balls. Shaping the flame blast now. One end will be smaller than the other. 20:25 Daemonic yellow airbrushing. 20:58 Daemonic yellow is done. Onto the mythical orange airbrushing. Warpaints has some exceptional colors that I quite like them. 21:37 Pure red. 22:07 Airbrushing with matt black. 22:31 Because I didn't quite like the end result, I removed some cotton and airbrushed just yellow because I wanted the blast to be less dark. 22:48 Testing with lights off in 3. 2. 1. 23:04 Lights are back in 3. 2. 1. 23:10 Painted this blue styrofoam to use as the base of the survivor and his flame thrower. It is thick because it will have the battery inside. Also, painted the cables with yellow. 23:24 Placing the fire blast. 23:39 PVA gluing the survivor. 23:51 Hopefully you liked the project and you will enjoy the presentation.
