I will be doing a comic on it soon but have some backstory for now. Papyrus dies (not by a human,don’t worry) and Sans finds out. He goes to one of the goddess sisters (The goddesses are not rulers, it’s more like they help the monsters live and in exchange, they have to be absolutely loyal to the goddesses, even the king.)
