East Los Angeles College (ELAC) Engineering and Technologies Department General Engineering 101 - Spring 2019 Instructor: Artin Mejy Davidian, F.E. Associate Professor, Engineering & Technologies Department MESA (STEM Mentor 4-Life) Technical Advisor, BioMedical Engineering Club East Los Angeles College (Monterey Park Campus) 1301 Avenida Cesar Chavez, Monterey Park, California 91754 (323) 780-6818 Team: Low Income Alejandro Caro - [email protected] Michael Dodds - [email protected] Ivan Flores - [email protected] Manuel García - [email protected] Adrian Horta - [email protected] Adrian Perez - [email protected] Victor Rivera - [email protected] Luis Villaseñor - [email protected] The key principle of a Stirling engine is that a fixed amount of a gas is sealed inside the engine. The Stirling cycle involves a series of events that change the pressure of the gas inside the engine, causing it to do work. As part of our formation we were task to build a Stirling engine for our final project. The task residing with the Stirling engine is to visually see, understand and explain the how a combustion engine works. If you have any questions regarding our project feel free to email any one of us for more information.
