The Dead Weather (Jack White & Little Jack) - Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground
Jack White (as Little Jack Lawrence) on Bass and Little Jack Lawrence (as Jack White) on Piano perform The White Stripes Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground at Third Man Records and Novelties West at opening day in Downtown Los Angeles. This was a very special treat to the few privileged fans that just happened to be inside the store when Jack White (with a long straightened hair wig and glasses) and Little Jack Lawrence (with fizzy short hair wig and dressed in red... and no glasses) came out to play after The Dead Weathers performance in the main theater at The Regent. Alison Mosshart (standing nearby) was enjoying the performance as well. The switch up between Jack White and Little Jack was part of the stores "Reverse" theme. All the vinyl's sold in the store are printed backwards. They music playing in the store is backwards and the Third Man Records logo (blue and white instead of black and yellow) has square heads and a square globe instead of round heads and a round globe. Third Man Records and Novelties West is a Pop Up Store located in Downtown Los Angeles, California for 3 days only. The store is located at 448 S. Main Street (between 4th and 5th) Downtown Los Angeles, CA 90013. Hours are: Wednesday, August 26th: 10 am-8 pm / Thursday, August 27th: 12 pm-8 pm / Friday, August 28th: 12 pm-8 pm. Staff members and local papers say there will be "Surprises Each Day" so be sure to head on out there!
