Vintage Fender Mustang into Vox Saturator and Vintage Dean Markley DMC-80 guitar amp
~ 3rd vid featuring my 1972 Fender Mustang. Original early 80's Bill Lawrence S-250 stacked-humbuckers. The ORIGINAL Blade pick-ups. Smooth, punchy, crystal-clear, and QUIET, (especially at LOUD levels); - with a nicely pronounced horn-like "Honk"; (especially at LOUD levels). Amp is barely-trickling in this demo due to the cheesy mic in the point-and-click camera. (You get an idea of just how quiet I was playing when you hear the footswitch at 1:40) ~ Sounds nice and thick through the Vox Saturator at LOW levels, but sounds way-better when CRANKED... Still, this vid gives a decent representation of some of the nice Over-driven tone(s) from this CLASSIC axe... jj48
