Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies / Easy and Delicious Homemade Cookie Recipe

Everyone has a favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, and this is mine. The cookies' edges are crispy, while the centers are soft and moist. Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies (12 servings) Ingredients: 1/4 cup (60g) sugar 1/4 cup (50g) dark brown sugar 1/4 tsp (1g) salt 8 Tbsp (112g) unsalted butter, melted 1 egg (room temperature) 1/2 tsp (2g) vanilla extract 1 cup (150g) all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp (3g) baking soda 3/4 cup (150g) chocolate chips (350F/180C) bake for 10-12 minutes Items I used in my videos: Digital Kitchen Scale - https://amzn.to/3CB2tY0 Silicone Oven Mitts – https://amzn.to/3Co4t61 All Purpose Unbleached Flour - https://amzn.to/3GT1IfE Dark Brown Sugar - https://amzn.to/3hmgWPa *Disclaimer: If you purchase items through above links, I will earn small commissions from Amazon Associates Program. Method: 1. Preheat oven to 350F/180C. Weigh all of ingredients. 2. Melt butter. Microwave it 1 minutes (1100W), or melt it by a double boiler. 3. In a large bowl, combine together sugar and salt. 4. Then add melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Whisk together. 5. Sift in flour and baking soda, and mix together. 6. Add chocolate chips, and gently stir until just combined. 7. Cover and refrigerate the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes. 8. After 30 minutes, scoop the dough and shape 12 cookies. 9. Place cookies onto a parchment-lined baking pan. 10. Transfer to the preheated oven, (350F/180C) bake for 10-12 minutes. Until cookies' edges are chestnut brown and cookies' tops are light golden brown. 11. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool 10 minutes on the baking pan. 12.Cool completely and serve. Notes: * Store cookies in airtight containers at room temperature for several days, or freeze for longer storage. * I used vanilla extract in this recipe, but you feel free to use almond extract, lemon extract, or even without adding any flavor. * If you want this recipe to be dairy-free, you can use dairy-free chocolate chips. * If you like softer cookies, bake the shorter amount of time; if you like crunchy cookies, bake longer.
