Ibanez RG370DX Part 1
** Caution! Not for anyone with a short attention span. These videos are not intended for entertainment. Instead they are for customers (or prospective customers) of Reloved Guitars and other people interested in guitar tech ** This video shows me Reloving an Ibanez RG370DX super strat guitar that I got through Gumtree a few months back. It was in a tired, slightly neglected state but I could see that with some time and effort it would scrub up nicely - and so it has. There was quite a big time gap between re-fitting the neck after doing the fret levelling & minor body repairs and re-stringing and setting up the tremelo mainly because I wanted to get the Floyd Rose set right. That required making time to study some online resources - in particular those of Galeazzo Frudua - to learn what to do. This video doesn't contain the tremelo set up which, in the end, only took 4 minutes. Yes, 4 minutes! Thanks to Signor Frudua! If the guitar doesn't sell by next weekend I may re-do this process on video to show how its done in practice (with a small modification in the process for this guitar).
