Karma forgets what he was going to say in favour of the heat that spreads across his cheeks in response. He clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth. ''Oh, never mind,'' he says, tugging at the collar of his shirt to try and displace the sudden flush. ''Probably much too complicated for you to understand.'' Nagisa laughs once more, and Karma is left with a dead weight in his stomach as they part.
