How to Properly Connect a Battery to Your Camper or RV

Hooking up a battery to your camper/RV is a lot easier than you think! One of our Service Techs, Jim, shows us the proper way to connect and disconnect a battery. How to connect/disconnect a battery to your RV: Identify your positive/negative connections: RED for Positive(+) and BLACK for Negative (-) Make sure your connections are CLEAN and TIGHT! When connecting: Connect positive FIRST and negative LAST When disconnecting: Connect negative FIRST and positive LAST It's that easy! If you are still having issues, locate the circuit breaker (usually located near the batteries, picture in video). There's usually a manual reset button located on the breaker.
